Three Boys, Three Sons, Three Brothers

Our three boys all share one room. One of these days I will get around to sharing with you the room that our two girls share. Some days are quite challenging when it comes to having all three boys in a room.

I kind of think it is magical though. They get to spend so much time together...all three of them.

They have three beds (and one of them is perfect for our nightly family gathering place)...

and three dressers.

Three personal boxes...

and three rock collections.

These built-in shelves are kind of tricky to fit things on. However, I found these cylinder bins at Ikea and they fit perfectly

Now if only the kid's family color coordinated with the boys birth order we would be all set! :-) It's a good thing they don't care and just figured out which one belonged to whom. They totally picked them by their colors though and not their numbers. :-)

Apparently they are perfect for holding rocks (and other large objects that may have been purchased as souvenirs to commemorate longggg road trips.)

I'm just glad Ikea sells sets of three. :-)

What kind of number combinations would work for your family?

    1. Chantal,

They picked out the containers using their colors. Thankfully the three bins were the same exact colors that the boys use. :-)

  8. I have 3 boys in the same room too! Im hoping this next baby will be a girl so I can have my daughter share a room- if not I will have to lose my craft room and split the boys 2 and 2. I don't think 4 of everything will fit in their room now!

  10. Where are their toys? Why do they have no 'stuff'? No wonder its so tidy, they don't seem to have anything....

    1. Great question! They have toys in their walk in closet. It works great with the size of the room and it keeps our littlest at bay when it comes to getting down to play once it is bedtime.

  11. We have 3 toddlers in one bedroom as well. No bunk beds though since they're too little.
We keep most of their toys in the closet as well, as rotate as need.
Thanks for sharing and letting us peek inside your house!
