My First Trampoline Review ~ LOVE It!

With Christmas almost around the corner I thought I would share with you a fun family friendly, kid loving find!

My 1st Trampoline Review

We have had family visiting from out of town and have loved every minute together. With thirteen people sleeping all under one roof (and using ONE shower) we had a blast to say the least. :-)

There was no special occasion for a gift except that Nana & Papa (Sam's grandparents) wanted to get the kids each a little something special. They've tried to do this each time the great-grand kids visit (or when they visit) since they don't get to see them very often.

Our kids are quickly learning the power of five!

Sam and I were given the choice to pick something out for each child individually or combine the gift to pick out something bigger. It seemed like a no brainer to us...we thought it would be fun to pool together the five gifts...add a few dollars of our own and get the kids this "My 1st Trampoline" from Sam's Club

What a fun, memorable family gift from Nana & Papa!

The kids were just a little excited.

It really was a blast watching each child enjoy their turn. The instructions recommend one child at a time and a max of 100 pounds. We think that the little ones will do fine with each other and it will be more fun for the older ones to jump one at a time.

It is recommended for ages 3-10 and our oldest daughter who is 9 loved the air!

When we picked it out I wasn't thinking of the fact that then we wouldn't get to jump with the kids. I grew up with the larger style trampoline and loved it. However, with the ages of our kids I knew that this smaller, safer version would be more fun without having to always be right next to a bigger trampoline and the concern of little ones getting hurt.

I like fun, simple & safe.

I found a great chair to sit and enjoy the beautiful fall weather while listening to the laughter and watching the excitement.

I could totally see us doing another "family gift" one Christmas in years to come and going with the larger trampoline so that mom & dad can join in on the fun too.

However for now...we are loving this new, fun toy.

What do you think...would your kids enjoy something like this?

This is not a sponsored review and as always, all opinions are 100% mine.

  1. We got the same trampoline a few years ago... from the grandparents... as a joint gift to our children. :) We keep ours in our basement playroom and even after 3 years, it's still a very favorite activity for the kids. And it has held up so well! Have fun!!

  2. Our current rental home came with a full size trampoline with the enclosure net. Our little ones have to climb on with the help of a lawn chair, but they love jumping on the trampoline. I didn't realize that even the large kind recommends only one person at a time. Our 4 oldest all jump together, but I can definitely see how adding more than one person ups the possibility of an injury. Thankfully, no one has ever been hurt on our trampoline.

Have you seen how people place a trampoline in a pit so the top is level with the grass? I think that looks like so much fun, I'm just not sure about mowing around it, although I guess it can't be any harder than mowing under it :)

    1. Allyson,

That is so great that your home came with one! Growing up our family rule was two people at a time on the trampoline but we always fudged it a little. :-) I remember having sleep overs on it and we would all end up piled in the middle by morning.

I have seen how people put their trampoline in a pit. They look really cool like that!

  4. Our children got a big trampoline for Christmas last year and they still jump on it daily. Best money Santa ever spent!

    Take care!
