A Simple Example of Hope

Have you ever seen a problem in your life and felt like it was just one big mess? I mean really, is anything ever going to change....are things ever going to get better?!? Maybe things around you look dry and you can barely see past the problem. You want to believe that there is potential, that beauty can arise but it looks like TOO MUCH work, and it is going to take TOO MUCH patience and TOO MUCH time and you don't have nearly enough energy to tackle it.

I have.

I've felt that way what seems like more than a thousand times in my life.

But then hope & determination kicks in. The ability to believe that something beautiful can come out of dry times; that those problems might need some care and affection but little by little things CAN change, problems CAN be solved, beauty CAN arise!

No matter what you're facing today, remember that there IS hope! When things overwhelm you remember that God can give you "strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow." Maybe things that were planted long ago are about to break through and blossom. Maybe it's time to start planting things in your life, or garden, that may not grow right away, but the long term result from that investment will be beautiful.

What things in your life seem to be hopeless right now or going at a slower pace than you anticipated?
